Every year the Juno's Blank Canvas competition features art for their Limited Edition seasonal gin releases. The theme for 2023 was ‘Free Your Spirit Across The Seasons’ and I was inspired by the imagery that freedom conjures. For me, this was a combination of my love for surrealism and art nouveau in concert with my passion for fashion photography. This inspired my piece ‘salute to the sun’. I think that movement embodies freedom and the illustration is a snapshot of that movement in the styles I am inspired in.
